Born and rasied in Gothenburg, Sweden and initially listening to hip hop as a kid, Social's ears soon
caught onto UK Hardcore, House and Techno as it emerged from England into Sweden during the early 1990's.
The developing sounds of electronic music drew Social to Jungle/Drum&Bass in 1994. It was only until 1997
when Social started to DJ as the passion for the music urged him to take the step. Like many dance music
enthusiasts before him he was quick to master the skills of mixing. In 2003 he teamed up with Struktur.
Around the same time in 2003 Social took the step into music production. Production wise Social is more driven to 'slower beats' then Drum&Bass, downtempo, breaks, electronica, etc. |
